Fundamentals is a beginner-focused class built specifically around the SpringSculpt method. You will learn the core movements of SpringSculpt — how to use the springboard, how to engage correctly, how to maintain alignment through each sequence — at a pace that lets you actually understand what you are doing before the difficulty increases.
The class covers core activation, basic glute and hip work, shoulder stability, and the foundational springboard exercises that appear in every SpringSculpt class. By the end of a few Fundamentals sessions, you will walk into a standard SpringSculpt or HotSprings class knowing exactly where to put your body and why.
Pilates done incorrectly is not particularly useful. The method depends on precise positioning, proper breathing, and specific muscle recruitment patterns. None of those things are intuitive at first. Fundamentals gives you the foundation so that every subsequent class actually works the way it is supposed to.
Most people who skip the beginner class and jump straight into advanced formats plateau quickly or get discouraged. People who start with Fundamentals tend to progress faster and stick with their practice longer — because they understand what they are doing and can feel when it is working.
