Movement lives here. Two studios in Hoboken, one team of instructors, and a schedule built around how people actually want to move. SpringSculpt, heated mat, yoga-informed flows, strength work, and private reformer sessions for clients who want something more tailored. What ties it all together is the room itself. The music, the lighting, the pace, the people. You feel it the second you walk in.

Ken Pilates started with one room, one springboard, and a conviction that movement is best when it's done in community. Years later, the ethos is the same. Everyone who works here, or trains here, is building something together. We are curious about the body. We are serious about the craft. We do not take ourselves too seriously.

706 Washington Street is home to our group studio. Heated and non-heated classes on the springboard and the mat, with formats that move between strength, stretch, sculpt, and flow. It's the social room. Expect music, energy, and a schedule that runs early to late.
706 Grand Street is our private reformer studio. One-on-one and small semi-private sessions in a quieter, more focused space. It's the place clients come for technique, rehab-minded work, and sessions built around their specific body. Two rooms. Two moods. Same team.
Thirteen instructors. One roof. Alex Haquia, Ariana Alvarado, Asha Palms, Ava Rakowski, Crystal Otero, Davinara Marcario, Kennyth Montes de Oca, Mariah Gibson, Matthew Cunningham, Sierra Sanders, Taja Fooks-Thornton, Tania Torres, and Venus Ferreira. Dancers, athletes, classical Pilates instructors, personal trainers, yogis, and HIIT coaches. Different backgrounds, same room, same standard.

Ken Pilates was founded by Kennyth Montes de Oca, whose background in dance and movement shaped the way the studio feels from the first minute of class. The vision was simple: build a space where the training is sharp, the room is warm, and people of any level can find their place in it.
Our team is made of movement people. Dancers, athletes, personal trainers, classical Pilates instructors, yogis, and HIIT coaches, all teaching under the same roof and pushing each other to stay curious. It's why no two classes feel quite the same, and why the work keeps evolving.

"I came into Ken's class not knowing what to expect, and I was blown away. The energy is incredibly high from the moment you walk in: great music, great flow, and a seamless combination of Pilates, strength work, core training, and those little extras you didn't know you needed."

"10/10. I've been to a handful of Ken Pilates classes and they've been nothing short of extraordinary. All movements are intentional without the high impact that my other fitness classes have on my body. I also felt like I was cleansing my soul at the start of my day. Definitely worth a try."

"Loved my first experience at Ken Pilates in Hoboken. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed. Ken, the owner, taught the class and was incredible: encouraging, high-energy, and very intentional with his teaching. The music, energy, and even the calming scents at the end made the experience both motivating and relaxing. Plus, as a fellow Dominican, I loved supporting Ken and feeling that cultural connection."
