Ken Pilates studio

Content Creator (TikTok)

About the role

Own our TikTok. You film it, you edit it, you post it, you grow it.

We're a founder-led boutique Pilates brand with a group studio and a private studio in Hoboken, plus a new NYC location opening soon. Our founder is a professional dancer and a natural on camera. Our instructors are magnetic. Our rooms look incredible. None of that shows up on our TikTok yet. That's the job.

What you'll do

  • Film and edit 3 to 5 TikToks per week
  • Run the account end to end: post, caption, hashtag, schedule
  • Reply to comments and DMs daily in our brand voice
  • Shoot on site: classes, instructor trainings, studio life, behind the scenes
  • Direct our founder and instructors on camera. You set up the shot, you get the take.
  • Keep a content calendar and a standing backlog of ready-to-post footage
  • Bring us trends before they peak
  • Report monthly on what's working and what you're changing

First project

A 30-day sprint: a content calendar, a backlog of at least 15 filmed and edited videos, and your point of view on what our TikTok should look and sound like. We review at day 30, then settle into the weekly rhythm.

How we'll measure it

Posting consistency, watch time and completion rate, shares and saves, follower growth, profile visits and link clicks, comment response within 24 hours, and bookings traced to social. Targets set together in week one, reviewed monthly.

When you apply

Drop links to two or three videos you've made and a sentence or two on what you'd change about our TikTok.

Pay and benefits

  • Part-time, hourly. Hours capped at 15 per week.
  • $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience.
  • Complimentary membership at our New York City studio.
  • W-2 employee position: paid sick leave, disability and paid family leave coverage, and the other benefits that come with being a true employee rather than a contractor.

What we're looking for

  • A portfolio or personal account proving you can make short-form video people actually watch
  • You shoot and edit yourself: CapCut, TikTok native, or equivalent
  • Fluent in TikTok culture. You know what's trending this week, not last quarter.
  • Comfortable directing people on camera, including the founder
  • Self-starting. You schedule the shoots and show up with ideas.
  • Based in the NYC metro area with reliable access to Hoboken; on-site, including some evenings and weekends

Preferred qualifications

  • Interest in fitness, wellness, or dance
  • Instagram Reels experience
  • Basic graphic or motion skills
