About the role
Part-time · W-2 · Hourly
Pay: $16.00/hr for all apprenticeship hours (training, observation, coaching, teaching labs). Instructors who complete the apprenticeship move to the KP instructor rate card, which scales with performance. Not commission-based.
The role
A paid apprenticeship that trains you in the KP formats and develops you onto our teaching schedule.

Complete the apprenticeship and join the schedule at the instructor rate card, with a path into group formats, private instruction, and leadership.
Our formats
- SpringSculpt: our signature spring-resistance method
- HotSculpt: strength in the hot room
- ZenSculpt: our yoga and Pilates hybrid, in the heat
- Private studio: comprehensive Pilates on the full apparatus, including reformer and trapeze conversion combinations and Pilates chairs
All instructors, at every experience level, start as paid apprentices. Your certification opens the door. Our coaching puts you on the schedule.
The process
- Take class with us. Strongly recommended before your audition, booked at regular rates. The audition draws on SpringSculpt principles, so class time is the best preparation.
- Apply. Resume plus a short note or 60-second video on why KP.
- Audition. Final interview step. Teach a short demonstration class built on principles we share in advance.
- Offer. Apprentice Instructor: W-2, hourly, defined term.
- Apprentice. Coaching, observation, teaching labs.
- Teach. Join the schedule at the instructor rate card, with development toward privates as you grow.

What we're looking for
- Comprehensive Pilates certification (mat-only does not qualify; private studio work requires the full repertoire)
- For ZenSculpt: yoga certification + comprehensive Pilates certification
- Strong cueing, presence, and hands-on instincts
- Coachable, curious, committed to continuing education
- Availability for scheduled training hours during the apprenticeship term
